Congratulating Captain John Maitha, MS, PA-C

Congratulations to Captain John Maitha, MS, PA-C, who was recently recognized with the Surgeon General Physician Assistant Recognition Award.

Capt. Maitha is an active-duty U.S. Army physician assistant who recently joined Cooper, serving as an embedded member of Cooper’s Army Medical Department Military-Civilian Trauma Team Training Program. He is assigned to the 232rd Medical Battalion, 32nd Medical Brigade and is a member of the Army Medical Specialist Corps.

The award was presented by Lt. Gen. R. Scott Dingle, the 45th Surgeon General of the U.S. Army and Commanding General, U.S. Army Medical Command. Brig. Gen. Deydre Teyhen, 20th Chief of the Army Medical Specialist Corps, also presented Capt. Maitha with a certificate recognizing his accomplishment.
