On Friday, August 18, 2023, four kittens, approximately two weeks old, were rescued from under the Flanders Street Bridge by Cooper EMTs Jeanmarie Herrmann and Charlie Brown. The kittens were taken to Pennsauken Animal Hospital and Urgent Care by members of the Community Cat Club.
