Cooper Interventional Radiology Nurse Practitioner Presents at National Conference

Last month Cooper Interventional Radiology advanced practice nurse Karima Robinson, MSN, ACNPC, CCRN, CWS, attended an educational conference and meeting in Charlotte, NC, sponsored by Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc., a professional organization for registered professional nurses and student nurses representing many cultures and diverse ethnic backgrounds. More than 8,000 registered and student nurses hold membership in Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc.

Karima presented a poster titled “Mentoring Nurse Leaders of Color – A Teamwork/Collaboration Project,” which you can view here. The poster summarized the work of a collaborative effort that resulted in an article titled “Factors affecting the advancement of Black nurses into leadership roles: A scoping review,” which was published in Nursing Outlook magazine.

Congratulations to Karima and all team members who brought this presentation to fruition.
