Food Pantry Drive Dedicated to CMSRU Students

The Cooper Medical School of Rowan University’s (CMSRU) Office of Diversity and Community Affairs has initiated a donation drive for a food pantry dedicated to CMSRU students — a crucial resource in combating food insecurity within our student community. Donation boxes are accessible within the medical school, and to enhance convenience, an additional collection box has been placed in the hospital library. Your contributions make a meaningful impact to our students’ well-being.

At this time, the CMSRU food pantry can only accept nonperishable donations such as:

Food:

  • Cereal
  • Pasta (bagged, boxed)
  • Rice
  • Canned vegetables (low sodium, if possible)
  • Tomato sauce
  • Soup (canned, microwavable containers)
  • Beans (canned, dried)
  • Peanut butter, jelly (16-20 oz jars)
  • Granola, protein bars
  • Macaroni and cheese

Personal care items:

  • Shampoo (~10 to 12 oz. bottles)
  • Detergent pods
  • Feminine hygiene products
  • Bar soap
  • Saline solution
  • Toothpaste
