Important Tools for Weather and Conditions Situational Awareness

The National Weather Service has called for rain (heavy at times), high winds, and flooding for the tri-state area.

It is anticipated that the usual low-lying areas and roadways will experience flooding during times of heavy rain and/or high tides. The next high tide time for Camden will be 12:28 a.m. (just after midnight tonight) and 12:47 p.m. (just after noon) tomorrow. Times of heaviest rains and wind will be between 7 p.m. Tuesday night and 1 a.m. Wednesday morning.

We ask all team members to maintain weather awareness, anticipate that all the usual roadways that flood may be flooded, and plan accordingly. Our Cooper University Health Care FASTCOMMAND site, accessible via the FASTCOMMAND icon at the bottom of the Pulse, www.cooperhealth.org and www.cooperhealth.edu homepages, has a host of useful resources for your situational awareness and personal/family emergency preparedness. Please ensure you give yourself extra time for your commute and always “Turn Around, Don’t Drown.”
