International Women’s Day

Friday, March 8, 2024, is International Women’s Day. This world-wide celebration recognizes the achievements made by women everywhere, and underscores what can still be done to achieve inclusion and gender equality.

March is also Women’s History Month. The National Women’s History Alliance announced that the theme for this year is “Women Who Advocate for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.” The theme recognizes women throughout the country who understand that, for a positive future, we need to eliminate bias and discrimination entirely from our lives and institutions.
