Holi Celebration at Cooper

Last week, Cooper team members celebrated Holi – “The Festival of Colors” – a Hindu festival that dates back to the 4th century. Holi is one of the most popular and significant festivals throughout India and southern Asia, marking the end of winter and honoring the triumph of good over evil. Participants gathered to throw colorful powders, enjoy sweets, and dance to traditional music. Nearly 200 Cooper team members and medical students from Cooper Medical School of Rowan University participated in the colorful celebration, which was sponsored by Cooper’s Graduate Medical Education Diversity Committee.

Thank you to all who participated in this extraordinary event.
