The theme for Medical Laboratory Professionals Week this year is “The Future is Lab.” The laboratory workforce remains resilient in the face of continually emerging public health threats, responding with poise, and demonstrating versatility as its role in diagnostic testing has expanded. Clinical and public health laboratories may seem hidden from sight but their contributions to our health and safety do not go unnoticed. We celebrate the unique contributions laboratory professionals make in clinical settings and beyond.
