Cooper Nurse Named 2024 GI Professional of the Year by the American Board of Certification for Gastroenterology Nurses

Jeanne M. Greer, RN, BSN, CGRN, Director of Operations for Cooper’s Digestive Health Institute (DHI), was recently named 2024 GI Professional of the Year by the American Board of Certification for Gastroenterology (GI) Nurses.

The American Board of Certification for Gastroenterology Nurses provides a certification and recertification program for gastroenterology and gastroenterology endoscopy registered nurses that promotes their knowledge, skills, and competencies to ensure quality patient care and outcomes.

“We are so proud of Jeanne and her accomplishment, which recognizes her dedication and commitment to the highest standards of GI nursing through leadership, collaboration among colleagues, and advocacy of patients. Her diligence ultimately results in outstanding compassionate care for patients at Cooper’s Digestive Health Institute,” said Adam B. Elfant, MD, FACG, Division Head of Gastroenterology and Liver Diseases at Cooper’s DHI.

Greer, a resident of Moorestown, NJ, has served in her current role at Cooper for more than 15 years, and has dedicated her career to GI nursing for more than 30 years.
