Summer Meals Are Back

Summer Meals is a program sponsored by the Food Bank of South Jersey and facilitated by Cooper’s Community Outreach Department. The program provides children ages 18 and under with healthy and nutritious meals, following United States Department of Agriculture nutrition guidelines, to help fill the void during a time when there are no meals provided at school. No applications are required.

The program runs every Tuesday this summer, starting June 25, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The program is open to Cooper patients and community members. Cooper anticipates receiving 100 meals each week, which will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. This distribution will take place on the left side of the Sheridan Pavilion. (Three Cooper Plaza and Haddon Avenue)
