Updates to After-Hours Patient Belongings Drop-Off Process 

We are updating our after-hours patient belongings drop-off process to enhance the security and management of our patients’ personal items received overnight. Currently, any patient belongings that are delivered after hours are placed on shelves outside of the Belongings Office, which is located behind the Welcome Desk in the main hospital lobby.

Effective today, Tuesday, June 25, 2024, we have transitioned to a new procedure that aligns with our commitment to security and convenience. After the close of business hours (currently after 5:30 p.m.), team members must call Cooper Security to coordinate a patient belongings drop-off. Security personnel will meet team members in front of the Belongings Office to store patient belongings inside the locked office, ensuring that the items are safely secured overnight.

Please note that our goal is to extend service hours until 9 p.m. in the future to accommodate evening shift drop-offs.
