Parking Enforcement Update for Camden Team Members

In the last year, we have upgraded Cooper’s parking gate system to ensure a better experience for our team members, patients, and visitors. Additionally, we reserve the first four floors for patients on a 24/7 basis at the Hospital Garage, and the first three floors for patients at the Sheridan Garage. We reserve the upper floors at the Hospital Garage for our team members.

Some of our team members have been disregarding this policy and occupying spaces reserved for patients.

Effective Monday, August 5, 2024, team members who violate this policy will receive a notice of violation, and copy will be sent to their supervisors. Continued violations may result in progressive disciplinary action, as outlined in 8.307 (Benefits – Parking Policy).  

On days when floors above the patient level to the roof are completely full and no spaces are available, exceptions will be made. This will be documented by a parking attendant posted above the patient parking level at both garages.

Team members who park on the Camden campus must sign up and register for parking. Failure to sign up or display your issued decal is also a violation of Cooper’s parking policy.

The parking policy is in place to ensure our team members and patients have safe and easy access to Cooper’s facilities. This policy is in keeping with one of the tenets of our mission – to serve. Please follow the policy so that our patients have a positive experience.
