Rowan Student Athletes Screened by Cooper Cardiologist in Inaugural Event

Mario Caruso, DO, FACC, Director of the Sports and Exercise Cardiology Program at Cooper and Inspira Cardiac Care, led a group effort to screen approximately 200 student athletes at Rowan University, Glassboro. This first annual electrocardiography (ECG) screening event was for all the incoming freshman and transfer student athletes. This program helps ensure cardiac safety and optimal performance for the athletes.

The Rowan athletic team was very appreciative of Cooper’s efforts and is excited not only to do this yearly but also to collaborate further with the Cooper and Inspira cardiology team.
