September 14 through 20, 2024, marks the annual celebration of Nursing Professional Development Week. During this week, we recognize the profound impact nursing professional development practitioners and clinical educators have on the growth and development of nurses throughout all stages of their career. Our clinical educators are supporters and mentors of frontline nurses and champion quality, evidence-based care, and patient safety every day.
At Cooper, our clinical educators provide programs and coordinate recognitions such as:

- Nurse residency transition-to-practice program.
- Competency assessment and management.

- Education on use of equipment, policies, and procedures.
