Construction Career & Job Opportunities for Camden Residents
Cooper Chairman George E. Norcross III invites Camden Residents to apply for Construction Apprenticeship Programs in various construction trades, including Carpenters, Electricians, Sheet Metal Workers, Plumbers and Pipe Fitters, Painters, Laborers, Tile Setters, Drywall Finishers, Operating Engineers, Roofers, Iron Workers, Masons, and Glazers.
Cooper University Health Care is investing $3 billion to expand its Camden Campus – Cooper’s home for more than 138 years. These construction projects will be the largest in Camden history and will provide job opportunities for qualified Camden residents. We are seeking qualified Camden residents to join the Construction Trade Apprenticeship Program, in cooperation with construction manager Torcon, Inc. / P. Agnes, Inc. This is an opportunity to find a rewarding job and a lifelong profession in the construction industry. The program is open to all men and women with a high school degree who are 18 years old and over.
A career in the building trades will not only provide a generous hourly wage but also includes enrollment into one of the best retirement programs in the nation and excellent health benefits. A membership in the building trades is a partnership for lifetime employment and a bond in a family that will support you throughout your career in construction.
If you would like to apply for an apprenticeship position with one of the participating unions, please call 856.356.4899 or email apprenticeships@CooperHealth.edu and someone will follow up promptly to assist you.
Thank you for your interest.
