Mid-Atlantic Mechanical Circulatory Support Conference

On November 2, 2024, the Division of Critical Care Medicine hosted the Mid-Atlantic Mechanical Circulatory Support Conference, a dynamic CME event that brought together more than 133 health care professionals, including physicians, fellows, and medical residents. 

Specialists gathered from across the U.S. and beyond, with attendees traveling from New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Ohio, Florida, Michigan, Canada, and Mexico to exchange insights on ECMO and other front-line circulatory support techniques. The conference featured 33 faculty speakers representing several prestigious institutions, including Cooper, Temple University Hospital, Hospital of University of Pennsylvania, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, MedStar Washington Medical Center, INOVA Health System, AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine – Montefiore, and Hackensack University Medical Center. The conference provided a valuable platform for advancing knowledge in life-saving technologies and fostering collaboration across borders.
