Cooper’s expanded Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) is scheduled to open this week. The new space, built modularly in only seven months, has increased the number of beds in the CDU from 20 to 35, with additional space to focus on short stay and observation patients. The increased capacity will allow us to support patient flow in the ED.
