February is American Heart Month, a time to raise awareness about heart disease and stroke, and educate people on risk factors, prevention strategies, and the importance of early detection and treatment.
We invite all Cooper team members to celebrate on National Wear Red Day, Friday, February 7, 2025. Don’t forget to share your photos on Pulse+!
Cooper Cape Team: Also on National Wear Red Day, join us in the Cooper University Hospital Cape Regional cafeteria for free blood pressure and stroke assessment screenings from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Click here for more information.
As a reminder, here are two tips that will go a long way toward one’s health:
- Eat healthy: Enjoy lots of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean protein.
- Exercise: Engage in at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity or 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity aerobic activity per week.
How do you stay heart healthy? Share your tips on Pulse+ and use #heartmonth.
