National CPR and AED Awareness Week: Learn a Skill That Saves Lives

Every year, from June 1 to June 7, National CPR and AED Awareness Week highlights the importance of life-saving skills. When more people are trained in CPR and AED use, more lives can be saved.

Did you know that approximately 70% of out-of-hospital cardiac arrests occur in homes? That means if you’re ever in an emergency and called upon to perform CPR, chances are you’ll be helping someone you love.

Cooper’s Center for Resuscitation Education and Community Engagement offers Basic Life Support (BLS) courses at the following locations:

  • Cooper Camden, 101 Haddon Avenue, Camden, NJ 08103
  • Cooper University Hospital Cape Regional, 2 Stone Harbor Boulevard, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210

Interested in hosting a community CPR event? We bring classes and instructions right to your door. Offerings include:

  • Providing education and skills sessions related to CPR, AEDs, and first aid to the community.
  • Exploring innovative programs to deliver training to the community.
