The Genetically Mediated Aortic Disease (GMAD) Clinic, a specialized program of Cooper and Inspira Cardiac Care, is proud to announce the expansion of its service to better accommodate the growing needs of patients and families affected by inherited aortic conditions.
The GMAD Clinic provides comprehensive screening, diagnosis, and management for individuals with genetic disorders of the aorta, including Marfan syndrome, bicuspid aortic valve aortopathy, vascular Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, and other familial thoracic aortic aneurysm disorders. Douglas M. Richter, MD, FACC, who oversees the program, provides coordinated, personalized care aimed at early detection and long-term management.
Patient appointments are available on first Fridays in February, April, June, August, October, and December.
