Representatives from Help Women and Children Now, a non-profit organization based in Haddonfield, NJ, visited Cooper University Health Care to present a $30,000 check. This monetary gift will be used to provide cardiac screenings to newborns in Cooper’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The donation represents the proceeds of a youth-run event that was held at the Adventure Aquarium earlier this year. Help Women and Children Now was founded by a Haddonfield family and enlists teens to raise money for organizations that provide pediatric heart, cancer, and premature birth services.
