Haddon Avenue Garage Closure and Scheduled Power Interruptions This Weekend

Please be advised that this weekend from 11 p.m. on Saturday, January 18, through 5 a.m. on Sunday, January 19, 2020, testing related to the co-gen project will take place on Cooper’s Camden campus.

The following areas will be impacted during testing:

Cooper University Hospital will experience brief power interruptions throughout the building.

MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper, Sheridan Pavilion, the Education and Research (E&R) Building, and the Coriell Building will all operate on emergency power.

The Haddon Avenue garage will be closed, and the elevators will not be operational. However, the parking gates will be open and some lighting will remain on in case of an emergency. Cooper Security will also be onsite to assist anyone who needs to access the garage.

Cooper’s maintenance and facilities staff will be rounding throughout the buildings during the testing period.

If you have questions or concerns, please contact Ken Maurone, Director of Plant Operations and Maintenance, at 856.342.2914.

Thank you for your cooperation as we make these important improvements to our facilities.
