Colonoscopies save lives, and now we’ve added convenient Saturday appointments! These appointments are available at Cooper’s Digestive Health Institute from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 501 Fellowship Road, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054.

Referrals from your primary care provider (PCP):
- Employees with Cooper insurance: Cooper Digestive Health Institute will obtain a referral from your PCP.
- Employees with other insurance: Cooper Digestive Health Institute will assist in obtaining a referral from your PCP.
Colorectal cancer is one of the most common cancers in the U.S., and is one of the few cancers that can be prevented. A colonoscopy is the only screening that allows your doctor to examine the entire colon for signs of cancer.
Who should have a colonoscopy?
- Women and men ages 50 or older.
- Anyone with a family history of cancer, especially colorectal cancer.
- Anyone having frequent diarrhea, constipation, or blood in their stool.
