Last week, the Patient Access Center at Cooper celebrated National Patient Access Week 2021. The Patient Access Center is a fast-paced call center with a very talented team of patient navigators.
A patient navigator is proactive in serving patients. “Our patient navigators provide a single and centralized point of patient access to physician and radiology services across multiple disciplines. Our navigators are tech-savvy, service-oriented, communicate effectively, and have excellent Cooper Core Values,” said Gabriel Suckey, Manager of our Patient Access Center. “We register patients, schedule appointments, update and verify insurance, route patient messages to the correct office pools, answer any patient questions within our scope and provide an overall stellar patient experience for both new and established Cooper patients!”
This week, the PAC was decorated with balloons and provided daily tokens of thanks, such as flowers, fresh fruit, goodie bags, and ice cream, for everything our team does for our patients and each other on a daily basis!
