April was National Donate Life Month. According to the NJ Sharing Network, 2.6 million New Jersey residents are registered organ and tissue donors, and 572 organs were transplanted in 2020 thanks to New Jersey donors. However, nearly 4,000 NJ residents – including some of our own Cooper employees – are still awaiting transplants and could benefit from a living donor. To find out more about organ donation in New Jersey, including how to become a living donor, visit NJ Sharing Network’s website here.
