In honor of Random Acts of Kindness Month, Cooper’s Compassion and Resiliency Experience (CARE) Program is distributing “kindness coins” by request.
The coins are a tangible symbol of acknowledgement and appreciation and are meant to inspire kind acts. The receiver of a coin can either keep it (some team members have clipped them behind their badges) or pass it along to the next individual they encounter engaging in a random act of kindness. The coins say “Pass it on!” and include phrases such as:
- Thank you for everything. Token of appreciation.
- You made me smile.
- Thank you for your kindness. You took the time to show you care.
- Kind: caring, thoughtful, bright, generous … That’s you!
To request a bag of kindness coins, visit the CARE Program’s resources page here.
If you’ve witnessed, taken part in, or been the recipient of a random act of kindness, we want to hear about it! Post about your experience on Pulse+ here.
