Celebrating Patient Access Week

Last week, Cooper’s Patient Access Center (PAC) celebrated National Patient Access Week. Thank you to Gabriel Suckey, Manager of the PAC, for sharing more about his team:

“The Patient Access Center is a fast-paced call center with a very talented team. The PAC team delivers an exceptional experience to patients, customers, and physicians who contact our access center by facilitating patient access throughout Cooper’s provider network. Patient navigators provide a single and centralized point of patient access to physician and radiology services across disciplines. This includes Internal and Family Medicine, CCA, UHI, Pediatrics, OB-GYN, Orthopaedics, Neurology, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Pulmonology, Pain Management, Rheumatology, Vascular, Surgery, and 800.8.Cooper to name a few.

“Patient navigators thrive on working in a fast-paced environment; have a strong ability to multitask; are technically savvy, service oriented, and communicate effectively; and consistently display a professional demeanor. This week was about celebrating our patient access navigators for everything they do on a daily basis for our patients and our Cooper Team.”

PAC team members celebrated their co-workers with flowers and a thank you note on Monday, fresh fruit on Tuesday, PAC Bingo with prizes on Wednesday, a cartoon caption contest with prizes on Thursday, and coffee, juice, and bagels on Friday.

Thank you to everyone on the PAC #CooperTeam for all you do!
