Cooper Heart Institute Earns Prestigious ACC Re-Certification

The Cooper Heart Institute, member partner of Cooper and Inspira Cardiac Care, has earned Certification Services Transcatheter Valve Center re-certification by the American College of Cardiology (ACC). Cooper is the first hospital in the tri-state area to receive this certification. The certification covers both transcatheter aortic valve replacement and transcatheter edge-to-edge repair.

ACC’s Transcatheter Valve Certification tool is an operational model that merges the latest science and process improvement methodologies. This certification is the result of diligent work by leading interventional cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and heart failure specialists. It incorporates recent guidelines and expert consensus statements by recognized professional organizations regarding the care of patients requiring transcatheter valve therapies.
