Critiquing Research Articles Workshop

Have you ever wondered how to assess the quality of a nursing research article? This research seminar will give you the tools you need to evaluate the quality of research articles. Is it peer-reviewed? How do you find out? Using specific criteria, we will evaluate a sample article for its depth and thoroughness, including critically examining the abstract, background, results and recommendations suggested by the researchers. If you want to gain more confidence in your ability to critique what you are reading, then this is the seminar for you!

Course registration is free to all Cooper staff. Go to the Cooper Learning Network (CLN) to enroll. If you need additional information, contact PCS Nursing Education at 856.342.2459 or email turner-jennifer@cooperhealth.edu.
