There are nurses. And then there are Cooper nurses.
Meet Kristina Kirschner, BSN, RN, CMSRN.
Q: What unit do you work on and for how long?
I’ve been a nurse for 12 years; the past two have been at Cooper on Pavilion 9.
Q: Why did you become a nurse?
I can’t remember a time that I didn’t want to be a nurse. It was a dream I had ever since I was a little girl. I told my guidance counselor that I wanted to be a nurse, and there was no looking back.
Q: What do you love most about being a Cooper nurse?
I love the different patients I get to meet and the small difference I make in their lives.
Q: What do you need to get through your 12-hour shift?
Starbucks and a good laugh.
Q: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
When I’m not napping, I’m spending time with my friends at a winery, traveling, or listening to Taylor Swift.
Thank you, Kristina!
