The inaugural New Jersey Social Determinants of Health Hackathon event that took place on November 10, 2023, was a huge success! Congratulations to everyone who participated and shared their ideas. Seven teams presented and four finalists were selected:
- Baron Rides Team: Community Carpooling Service. Lauwinda Cherilus, Pietra Oliviera, and Leonardo Vargas
- Essex Dream Team: Digital Literacy for Seniors. Louis Paul, Oscar Obochi, Grace Anthony, Teresa Cadet, Stephen Frimpong, and Hajara Sulley
- Cooper IT Team: Vertical Hydroponic Farms. Tyree Guinn, Tam Nguyen, and Jorge da Costa.
- HealthCode Team: Symptom Tracker. Joe Huntenburg, Santos Herrera-Lopez, Brent Cubbage, and Margaret Snyder.
