Essential Skills for Performance Management
This eight-week series teaches critical people-management skills for leaders, including effective communication, establishing performance expectations, giving feedback, coaching and developing employees, recognizing positive results, turning around employee performance issues and dealing with conflict in the workplace. New leaders to Cooper are required to complete this in their first year.

Individual Development Planning Workshops
Each year following the Leadership Talent Review process (LTR), our leaders (supervisors and above) create Individual Development Plans (IDPs). The IDP is a tool to help our leaders identify their own short- and long-term development goals to move from where they are to where they want to be in their careers.

Leaders who previously haven’t been part of Cooper’s IDP process are REQUIRED to take one of the one-hour IDP workshops scheduled below:
