Volunteers Needed for MLK Day of Service Food Distribution Event

Cooper is partnering with the Food Bank of South Jersey to distribute non-perishable and ready-to-eat food items to Camden County residents on Monday, January 15, 2024 – Martin Luther King Day. The goal of this event is to assist people in the community who are experiencing food insecurity and to amplify Cooper’s mission to serve, to heal, to educate. The event will be held at the former COVID-19 vaccination lot, located on the corner of MLK Boulevard and Broadway, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The African American Empowerment Enterprise (AAEE) Team Resource Group will lead this endeavor in observance of MLK Day of Service. We are asking for volunteers to help set up, staff the table, and break down following the event. You can sign up to choose a two-hour volunteer shift here.
