Several team members received the below email from @tuitionstatusupdate.com over the past few days regarding documentation related to Cooper’s Tuition Assistance Program. We thank many of you for immediately sending this email to Spam-Alert@cooperhealth.edu for review. Our IT team removed this suspicious email from our system while a review was conducted.
It turns out this was not a phishing attempt but was erroneously sent out by Edcor, a Cooper vendor that coordinates our tuition assistance program. Edcor has apologized for this error and is working to determine how the erroneous email was sent and to ensure it will not happen again.
Once again, we want to thank Cooper team members for remaining vigilant with suspicious emails. We apologize this happened and will follow up with Edcor to ensure it does not happen again.
