National Patient Recognition Week

National Patient Recognition Week takes place the first week in February each year. Established in 1995, this week acknowledges patients and ensures that they are recognized as the single most important aspect of health care. This week is an opportunity for providers – or anyone who encounters patients – to reaffirm their commitment to patient satisfaction.

Studies have shown that satisfied patients are more likely than unsatisfied patients to take medications, show up for outpatient appointments, and take overall ownership of their health. We encourage all our team members to check in with our patients and ensure that they are having an excellent experience at Cooper, not only this week but all year round.
