On February 8, 2024, Cooper Community Outreach had an opportunity to celebrate and recognize American Heart Month by hosting a “Love Your Heart” health fair with the Camden Housing Authority.
This comprehensive event promoted cardiovascular health and wellness for Camden residents. Participants had an opportunity to receive clinical health screenings, COVID-19 vaccinations, and health education, and to learn more about GetCoveredNJ, Medicare, and Medicaid plans. A special thank you to Maya Bass, MD; Navjot Narula, MD; and the Cooper Family Medicine residents for supporting our ongoing efforts for on-the-spot glucose testing to raise awareness and foster a culture of health and wellness in the city of Camden.
