Last week, Cooper Community Outreach collaborated with neuro registered nurses to participate in the “Bring Health Home” event as part of National Minority Health Month, which takes place in April. During this event, Cooper prioritized educating Burlington County residents about stroke signs and prevention measures. We conducted stroke assessments to determine individuals’ risk levels—whether they were at high, medium, or low risk for stroke. This initiative delivered crucial information to the community, fostering awareness and understanding of stroke-related concerns.
