Subaru Loves to Care at MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper

In partnership with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), Subaru of Cherry Hill distributed blankets and messages of encouragement to our patients at MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper. The blankets were delivered with the hope of providing comfort to patients during their treatment, each complete with a heart-shaped pillow that doubles as a case for the cozy plaid blankets.

The event is part of Subaru’s Loves to Care program, designed to aid cancer patients through their local treatment centers. Since 2016, Subaru Loves to Care has supported nearly 350,000 cancer patients. Every June, during Subaru Loves to Care month, Subaru strives to make meaningful impact at the patient level. LLS, a global leader in the battle against blood cancers, provides extensive services for patients and caregivers. This partnership signifies a commitment to improving support, advocacy, and care for those affected by blood cancers.

Cancer survivors Marianne and Josefina joined Generosa Grana, MD, and Toni Abassi from MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper, along with Liz Curtis from LLS and members of the Subaru of Cherry Hill team, for the blanket delivery.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the team at Subaru of Cherry Hill for their generosity and commitment to giving back to the communities in which they serve. A special thanks to our survivors for returning to celebrate their journeys with us. To our MD Anderson at Cooper patients and care teams, your resilience and dedication are inspiring examples of Cooper’s commitment to the journey towards healing.
