Basic Disaster Life Support and Advanced Disaster Life Support Courses

The Center focuses on the principles and practices of emergency management while also incorporating health care crisis management, operational medicine, emergency medicine, and practicing in resource-limited (or austere) settings.

Hospital Assault Response and Prevention Training Courses

  • Cooper’s Hospital Assault Response and Prevention (HARP) program trains team members in assault safety best practices, de-escalation strategies, protect-exit skills, and management of volatile patients and visitors. If you have not participated in a HARP session yet, you can register through the Cooper Learning Newtork (CLN). Sessions take place in person and are offered in several locations. Team members can also sign up for in-person “refresher” sessions to revisit their skills and practice.

LGBTQ+ Health Trainings

  • Free LGBTQ+ health trainings are sponsored annually by the Human Rights Commission’s National LGBTQIA+ Health Education Center. These trainings, which are crucial to maintaining our top ranking on the Healthcare Equality Index, provide our team with CME/CE credits. Click here for more information.
