Sepsis Awareness Month Wrap-Up

As Sepsis Awareness Month comes to an end, we are pleased to recognize several contest winners!

Congratulations to the Nurse Residency class on their sepsis awareness posters. Thank you to Pam Crabtree, Amy Petrini, Debbie Byrd, Renee Cherfane, and Caitlin Debes for facilitating the Sepsis Awareness Poster Contest.

The posters were displayed in the Cooper University Hospital cafeteria for voting and were judged in three categories:

  • Community Awareness: Tied between “It’s All About Time” and “Sunflowers.” Congratulations!
  • Cooper Sepsis Mascot: Congratulations to “Steve the Sepsis Shield.” This mascot will be added to power point slides displayed during Sepsis Committee and Sepsis Sub-Committee meetings.
  • Cooper Sepsis Slogan: Congratulations to “Sepsis – See It, Treat It, Beat It.”  The slogan will be added to PowerPoint slides displayed during Sepsis Committee and Sepsis Sub-Committee meetings.

Additionally, Grace Hill was the winner of the Sepsis Jeopardy and Escape the Box games. Congratulations, Grace!

Congratulations to our winners and thank you to everyone who made this year’s Sepsis Awareness Month a success.
