Schwartz Center Rounds Committee Gears Up for 2025 – Panelists Needed

The Schwartz Center Rounds Committee wants to thank the hundreds of Cooper team members who participated in or attended one of the programs in 2024. The purpose of the Schwartz Center Rounds (SCR) is to promote compassionate health care and strengthen the relationship between patients and caregivers by focusing on the human dimension of medicine. The SCR are designed to bring  all team members from all levels together to discuss the social, emotional, and sometimes ethical aspects of caring for patients and families. The rounds are held monthly at Cooper and are open to everyone!

Currently, the committee is gearing up for the new year and is seeking Cooper team members who want to participate as a panelist at one of these upcoming sessions. (These are working subject titles only; complete titles to follow):

  • Tuesday, February 4, 2025 – What’s Your Why? Meaning and Motivation in Medicine
  • Tuesday, March 4, 2025 – Moral Injury, Burnout, Compassion Fatigue, and Second Victim Syndrome
  • Tuesday, April 1, 2025 – Language Barriers and Language-Concordant Health Care

If you are interested in being a panelist for one of these sessions, please contact Jennifer Garefino for more information at garefino-jennifer@cooperhealth.edu or call 856.382.6679.
