The New Jersey Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) is honoring the memory of those lost in 9/11 with the Safe Citizens Day program. Rachelle A. Greenman, MD, FACEP, Cooper Emergency Medicine physician, is the past president of the NJ Chapter of the ACEP and was instrumental in launching the initiative in 2014. The goal of the day is to make a commitment to being better citizens by teaching, or by learning ways to help ourselves, our families, our friends and our neighbors to survive times of unexpected challenges.
The Cooper team has always been at the forefront of safety and prevention. Safe Citizens Day presents a great opportunity to highlight the many Cooper safety and prevention programs available to the community.
On Friday, September 11, 2015, Safe Kids of Southern New Jersey is hosting a Car Seat Safety Check from 9 a.m. to noon at Deer Park Fire Company on Cropwell Road in Cherry Hill. As of September 1, 2015, the New Jersey Car Seat Law was updated. It is important that all parents and caregivers of children and adolescents understand the new regulations.
