Last week, Cooper University Health Care hosted the Academic Clinical Advisory Board, an annual forum that brings together regional nursing academic partners to discuss goals, successes, and student preparedness for the workforce. The event focused on academic operations, current trends in the Cooper nursing workforce, and ways to expand opportunities for students and nurses. Presentations covered nursing education, nurse residency, quality, clinical partnerships, recruitment, and clinical workforce development, followed by engaging discussions with leaders and deans from regional nursing and health science programs.
