We are pleased to announce that Cooper began distributing updated ID badges to all Cooper Camden team members this week. These badges are being distributed by unit location, with coordination led by your department manager.
In accordance with the NJ Healthcare Transparency Act, your new badge will include the following updates:
- First name and last initial for Cooper University Hospital and the licensed ambulatory facilities.
- Full first and last names for leaders, physicians, APPs, and other team members.
- Professional degrees relevant to applicable licenses for specific positions.

For Cooper locations equipped with black card readers, you will be able to tap your new badge for access. However, system readers such as Kronos and point-of-sale systems (cafeteria) will still require swiping.
Managers will receive detailed information as we roll out the phased distribution process.
