Congratulations to Cory Angelini, Lean Six Sigma champion, Operational Excellence Department; Ma’Cita Saunders, Director of Logistics and Distribution; and Linda Valenti, Lean Six Sigma process improvement specialist; for receiving the Operational Excellence Award from HealthTrust™ at its annual conference held in Nashville, Tennessee, this summer. The Operational Excellence Award recognizes members who have implemented and demonstrated a best practice in streamlining and maximizing supply chain operations and/or cost savings initiatives. The Cooper team was honored for their work on the Supply Expense Workout Team which saved $1.6 million.
