What is the Epic Enterprise project?

The Epic Enterprise project will transition current IT systems for patient scheduling, billing, and radiology into Epic to consolidate most patient information into one system. For the past 15 months, 55 analysts and more than 200 subject matter experts have been working to design, build, and test the new Epic applications.

The next key dates for Epic Enterprise project:

  • August 8 -19, 2016: Introduction Classes on Being a Super-User.
  • August 15 – September 23, 2016: User Acceptance Testing.
  • August 22 – September 2, 2016: Super User and Manager Training.
  • September 6 – October 13, 2016: End-User Training.
  • November 1: GO LIVE!

What is an Epic Super User?

Super Users are tech-savvy Cooper employees who will receive advanced training. The Super Users will play a key role throughout the organization in supporting employees during the transition and after the go-live. They will also serve as liaisons between IT and operations to assist with questions and issues related to the transition.

Spotlight on an Epic system: Grand Central
