A stay at the hospital can be a very scary experience, but thanks to our Child Life Program at the Children’s Regional Hospital at Cooper, we are able to provide support for patients and their families.
Some ways your donations are helping our patients:
- Art Therapy and Music Therapy bring creative arts and musical therapy to patients at their bedside, providing them with an outlet to express their emotions.
- Toys, books, and games for the Johnny M. Playroom and Teen Lounge.
- iPads for patients who are unable to leave their rooms.
We are also proud of the clinical and educational funds that allow Cooper staff to continue to provide exceptional care, while helping children in need.
- Newborn Intensive Care Unit (#400440) – Supplies equipment for the NICU and supports programs for our patients.
- Learning Center (#400480) – Cooper’s summer reading program builds lifelong reading skills in young children in Camden.
- Child Abuse Prevention (#402400) – Provides training for Cooper staff involved in child abuse prevention.
- Safe Kids (#401370) – Community outreach program dedicated to the prevention of unintentional childhood injury.
- Pediatric HIV/AIDS Fund (#400370) – Supports Patients in Need for patients and their families.
- Clare’s Cupboard (#400910) – Provides infant clothing and equipment to newborns’ families in need.
- Cooper Cares (#401640) – Staff-managed program to provide grants for patient- and family-centered care.
