Code Blue Emergency Call Stations in Place

Each of the 12 highly visible Code Blue Emergency Call Stations are red with a blue light on top that is lit 24/7, and provide direct and immediate communication to Security Central on a dedicated phone line. There is constant two-way communication with Security Central until help arrives.

Stations are activated by pressing the “Red” button alongside the wording “PUSH FOR HELP.” Once activated, a highly visible blue beacon strobe light flashes. This is intended to draw attention, while scaring off potential perpetrators. Upon activation, the three sheriff’s officers patrolling the Cooper University Hospital campus 24/7/365 are immediately dispatched to the location.
