A Valentine’s Day Message From CADA (Cooper Against Domestic Violence)

Our society uses Valentine’s Day as a way to show your loved ones how much you care and love them. Unfortunately, those who live in a relationship of domestic violence are shown anything but love.

For many couples, Valentine’s Day can turn into a day of anger, jealousy and possibly even violence, sometimes from something as simple as a card from another admirer.

A group of staff members at Cooper have formed a volunteer team of employees who devote their time and talents to assist domestic violence survivors.

Cooper Against Domestic Violence (CADA) is here to help support awareness of domestic violence and promote safety to help those living in fear of domestic violence.

If you are interested in learning more about CADA or volunteering, you can contact the CADA team via Cooper email at CADALEADERSHIP@cooperhealth.edu.

If you are in a domestic violence/intimate partner situation, or know of someone in need, please do not hesitate to contact the Camden County Women’s Center. The Center’s 24/7 hotline is 856.227.1234.

There is help available to break the cycle of violence and control. CADA hopes that all of you have a SAFE and HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY.
