The Special Test Unit held their annual team-building event – the Chili Cook-Off – and is ready to announce the winner of “The Golden Spoon”!
Here are the five “chili chef” contestants who participated in the cook-off on February 22, 2019:

- Sarah “Spare Nothing”
- Sandy “Crosson the Line”
- “Lip Smackin’” Eileen Bocani
- Alexandra Weiss “Beyond Her Years”
This wonderful event featured some of the tastiest, tangiest, and most original chili dishes created by our medical staff participants. They held back the frigid coldness of winter with their spicy, hot recipes and competition!
Additionally, other staff members provided some great side dishes and assorted desserts.
A vote for their favorite chili in the competition was made by 30 taste testers. The winner has bragging rights and ownership of the trophy “The Golden Spoon.” Who got to take home The Golden Spoon this year? Congratulations go to Dr. Adam Elfant!
